This community engaged project is in partnership with the Oklahoma Association of the Deaf. Though “oral” history interviews, the project aims to document and preserve the rich history of the Oklahoma Association of the Deaf.

Here’s a short explanation and invitation to participate.

Participant Forms

Participants will complete 3 forms for this study. A translation for each is below.

  1. Informed Consent document – allows us to record your interview and use it for research about the OAD’s history
  2. Media Release Form – allows us to use clips of your video interview in a short movie (mini-documentary) about OAD’s history
  3. Deed of Gift – allows the OSU Library (Okalhoma Oral History Program) to archive your video so that it will be available to students, researchers, and community members
