Interpreter Educator | Scholar | Coach
My mission is to increase equity and access for Deaf and hard of hearing communities.
My research focuses on advancing teaching and learning in ASL and Interpreting Studies, with a particular emphasis on faculty development and student outcomes in interpreter education programs.
As the director of the ATLAS Research Lab, I lead initiatives to improve educational practices and support for ASL and Interpreter Educators.
The ATLAS Lab is dedicated to investigating questions that inform practice and support for ASL and Interpreter Educators. Our goal is to support faculty well being while increasing student outcomes, increase ASL proficiency across various fields, and enhance the quality of ASL-English interpreting services provided by graduates of interpreting programs.
