Hello! My name is Mady Hedge, and I’m a senior double majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders and American Sign Language Studies. I hail from Haskell Oklahoma, which is a small town near Tulsa. My interest in preserving and archiving history initially drew me to this research lab, and I’m eager to explore the diverse stories within the Deaf community. After graduating in May, I plan to pursue a graduate program in audiology to further my education and one day become an audiologist. I’m looking forward to contributing to our research and learning more about the rich narratives and histories of the Deaf community.

Hello! My name is Cadie Link, and I am a junior double majoring in Psychology and English. I am from Guthrie, Oklahoma, a small town not too far from Stillwater. My interest in archival projects originally comes from my previous job as a digital archivist for the Library on campus. I am really excited to do archive work in a video format for the Deaf Community. I look forward to learning the stories of so many people. After I graduate in Spring of 2026, I plan to pursue a graduate degree in Psychology or Secondary Education, as I would like to one day be a professor at a University. I look forward to working with this wonderful group to explore the stories of so many within the Deaf community.
